Adding a little bit of extra goes a long way when it comes to presentation! These cupcake look all dessed up for Halloween. Neat tip to decorate your treats!

I love the simplicity and technique of this pumpkin treat. Cut out lots of strips and punch a hole at each end. Run a pipe cleaner through both holes and add a leaf too. Push the strips closer and open them to look like a pumpkin. Add some treat/candy/cupcake before you open the strips to form the round shape. Easy?!!

These are typically the large Easter eggs in plastic that split in halves. But if you have a bag of Easter eggs that split across its still a good idea to work on! Place the eyes on the top half and nose and teeth in the lower one. Ta da! A thrifty fun and impressive craft idea!!

A perfectly safe and no cost idea to make treat bags more festive. Carve out designs on potato halves and let you kids have fun stamping! If they really take to it, making a skull/bat bunting to decorate your hallway/door too. How much easier can it get!

Craft using your home supplies is the best kind of craft! Toilet paper rolls wrapped in orange crepe for pumpkin. Make a little time to dress up lollipops as cute little ghosts! You will surely love the delightful squeals of little ones!

These little spooky pumpkin look absolutely wickedly adorable! Use online templates to get some fun party eye masks designs and there you have a funny bunch of pumpkins!

Yet another nice way to design a bat tree. Use clothes pin and glue paper bats to them. Use them all over the house too or simply get a branch to pop them on! Great diy idea.

Those looking to try their hand at carving, here are few fantastic designs! Make a template, get your thumb tack and scotch tape and get started! OR get some really bright neon yellow and paint it too. As a bonus it will look equally pretty in the mornings too :-)

Halloween is here!! And I am sure all of us are looking for some fun ideas to decorate this fall. Pumpkin carving is a highlight for so many and rightfully so. I love the creativity and fun involved in planning, carving and finally watching it glow in the evening. Everyone has different skill levels, and carving is not always easy.  Getting kids involved makes everything more special. Here are simple craft ideas to involve your little ones too.

This post is specially for those who love impressing without too much mess and with little time. The ideas are great for entire family and there are a few great tips and tricks to get yourself a drool worthy result. Think spray paints, ribbons, cookie cutters and embellishments. Easy peasy craft ideas coming up here!!

How cute are these! And so versatile too..arrange them on a cake stand or in front of fireplace, use with table setting or even as little gifts for your co-workers. Adorable and easy for little fingers. :)

Love this arrangement! A fun way to use pumpkin as a cooler. The black and orange looks pretty impressive. The guys will surely have fun carving this one ;)

'Looking glass' spray can transform pumpkins into these gorgeous centerpieces! Use a white spray first to get the best effect. A stunning look with little hard work :-D

Witches black cat and pumpkin rolled into one. Love the piercing orange eyes and the pointed ears. Easy way to do would be to leave the stump of the 'body' pumpkin on and hollow the head to fit them together. Use knitting spokes to hold them better. Spray paint and done!!

Cut little bats out of layers of black craft paper. Let your little ones glue them on, or use black thumb tacks if feasible. Its zero carving and so fun. Little kids would love making it.

Martha Stewart is a genius with this one! A big mallet and cookie cutter is all you need to make awesome pumpkin displays. You cannot go wrong with this. Keep looking for interesting displays using this cheat :)

Simple cookie cutter used to cut holes and scooped out pumpkin holding a votive. Ta da!!

This display is so stylish! love how different colored pumpkins have been holed first and then re-plugged to make an impressive centerpiece/yard decoration. How fun would be to plug the holes :)

Once the holes are plugged and you are feeling a little confident, carve out simple flowers using stencils for help. Change the design by using square cutters too and make it more interesting.

Candy corn :) This makes me smile. Love how polished these look. Easy enough and ready in almost no time if you have prior spray painting experience. Last minute decoration.

No carving involved in this super fun display. Get hold of googly eyes, blingy jewels, thumb tacks and get decorating. Its spooky, within budget and ready in little time. A perfect diy for kids.

Maybe not spooky but oh so sophisticated! This looks like a store bought display but can be made with little supplies. All you would need is some golden craft paint , golden glitter dimension paint and some vellum leaves. I would love to make this!

Another simple and artistic display using small pumpkins. This would be great for fall and thanksgiving season too.

The pumpkins displayed together here look so festive. The different textures and designs are unique and should be left as they are to be appreciated as well.

Another outdoor display which is functional as well. Carve your house number, and instantly brighten up your door front!

Spray paint is a great for pumpkin projects. This has black sprayed, with designs etched/scratched out. Quite simple and country style chic. A unique way to use black and orange.

This is the simplest or all and yet looks so aesthetically pleasant. Line up your pumpkins even before you have had a chance to carve them.

Inspiration : Mediterranean/Moroccan style decor Ideas

If you love vibrant and exotic colors, and have a taste for stylish and elegant furnishing, Moroccan decor is a beautiful choice! The intricate detailing on furniture, mosaic accents, rich jewel tones..all of them elements of this beautiful Mediterranean decor.

This is such a gorgeous setting! The touch of exotic in a simple setup. I love the flowers, the mosaic mirror, the straw storage boxes. The color palate is chic without being overwhelming. Stacked floor cushions and the carpet are important elements of Moroccan style decor. Bone white with the pop of fuchsia.

The Moroccan style furniture are low with simple, clean lines. The detailing on the furniture and the elaborate upholstery adds to the richness. The living room setting is so inviting. It would be perfect for hot summer months to laze around with friends. The best of elegance without compromising on comfort!

The shade of blue is the focal point here. It reminds of the sea and the lovely luxuriant yellow and rose pink add to the sophistication. There is another theme going with the beautiful marble inlay work furniture. The details are beautiful and shines in the day light. Ornate and intricate!

The colors used in Mediterranean/Moroccan style decor are beautiful, rich and luxuriant. The jewel tones with the shimmer of gold and silver in beautiful silk can be recreated in satin. Moroccan lamps with infuse any corner with an exotic feel. Use simple elements in your home decor, add a little bit of drama and excitement!

This bedroom has all the elements of Moroccan style decor. Low furniture design, lush extravagant upholstery, colorful intricate accents, heavy carpet and a beautiful surreal feel. The bedroom is right out of a fairytale. Its like an experience in itself.

The design above is traditional Moroccan style. This is a more modern take on it. Instead of adding all the curtains and canopy the walls are textured and painted a beautiful shimmery rose pink. The pendant lamp adds the soft dim light. The color theme is reflected in the bedspread as well as accent lamp. It is luxurious without being overwhelming.

Another modern design with includes some pretty elements from the Moroccan style decor. The lovely mosaic mirror is the focal point. Unusual coral pink dresser add to the mystique. The furniture is modern, yet with the lovely rug thrown in the design is elevated to a contemporary Mediterranean style

If you are unsure about using elements from this style inside your home, convert your patio into a lovely Moroccan bazaar tent. Your guests will be delighted!!! Its not only pleasing to eyes but totally functional. Love the ombre curtains and the luscious use of pink and white. Very pretty!!

Try using some elements of this beautiful style in your home decor. Moroccan style lamps and ornate mirrors are easy to find and lovely to incorporate. Start with a corner and if you like it, incorporate some more elements. Find your own mix of fabrics, accents and colors. Designing and decoration a home is a never ending passion!!
